Transforming low income citizen mortgage services in Egypt

Sumerge started working on an exciting new major national project with The Mortgage Finance Fund (MFF) in Egypt providing a complete mortgage management solution. The solution automates the complete mortgage workflow process starting from the citizen mortgage request all the way through the risk assessment and approval process, integrating with multiple banks and credit bureaus. The solution will provide several Business Process Management (BPM) and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) capabilities being built using the latest IBM FileNet technology.
The Mortgage Finance Fund (MFF) is an Egyptian governmental institution that provides housing subsidies for low-income families, thus contributing to social justice. The Mortgage Finance Fund is a pioneer across the region. The Fund also seeks to improve its performance by raising its capacity and efficiency through the development of standards, rules and internal work systems, and a trained team to achieve the best effectiveness and efficiency in its performance. The Fund’s vision extends to the entire real estate finance system through events that harmonize all aspects of the mortgage finance process and ultimately benefit the low-income segment. The MFF is based in Cairo and operates across Upper Egypt aims to serve 50,000 new customers per year.
