How We Solved It

Our Enterprise Content Management Solution (ECM), Business Process Automation (Workflow) Solution and Reporting Tool – running over IBM Cognos Reporting Tool and IBM Websphere Process Server technologies – allowed Banque Misr to solve all of the above challenges. We were responsible for the automation of 4 main processes:

1. The Letter of Guarantee (LG) Process
2. The Mutual Funds Process
3. The Check Collection Process
4. The Online Money Transfer (OMT) Process

The whole process was challenging as we needed to integrate the 4 processes with the bank’s archiving solution, as archived files are always attached to all requests submitted to the bank.

The mutual funds files were fully integrated and securely migrated to the new process without the loss of any existing files. Thanks to the Reporting tool, Banque Misr employees can now search for any needed reports, as well as view reports and analytics already embedded in and integrated with the Business Process Automation Solution.
