AlexBank Modernizing Integration over Microservices

To achieve its strategic goals, Alexbank is currently undergoing through a major IT transformation. On a parallel track to the core banking modernization, Alexbank aims to modernize their integration by introducing latest architecture to provide the bank with resilient infrastructure.
With microservices architecture having a great impact on modernizing existing integration approach, AlexBank has partnered up with Sumerge for the team’s deep expertise and references. Sumerge team has delivered and went live with more than 5 projects leveraging their skills with microservices architecture.
Sumerge is offering an end-to-end agile integration platform built over cloud-native Microservices, Kubernetes, Apache Kafka, and Docker as well as DevOps; allowing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD). As an integral part of the platform, a modern analytics will be provided using Elastic search, Logstash and Kibana (ELK stack).
After a successful pilot project, AlexBank went live with the first integration service built over microservices by Sumerge team in early 2020. This service was involved with iScore credit check. In fact, the bank realized the positive impact of integrating this service for the brought values including reduced total cost of ownership (TCO), standards-based, scalable, configuration-based rather than code-based integration and many more.
