Delivering Correspondence Management solution to the Central Bank of Lebanon

Sumerge will start the execution of the Correspondence Management solution for the Banque du Liban (BDL), the Central bank in Lebanon using IBM Case Manager and IBM Datacap technologies. Sumerge’s solution helps manage all outgoing and incoming correspondences and communication both within the bank and between the country’s different ministries. As the current correspondence system is paper based and documents keep moving between different branches and departments, several challenges are facing BDL such as the risk of paper loss and very hard files retrieval. The Correspondence Management solution scans all documents, captures the requested metadata and saves the documents using IBM Datacap, this way employees can find the needed documents in an easier and faster way. All documents will be available for access from any of the BDL branches with only a click of a button.
